But do you enjoy wearing makeup while traveling, but don't feel like putting in too much effort during your trip? Then explore the 5 makeup trends below that are perfect for any destination. Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
Just back from Catalonia and I thought: I'll share some tips right away. During our road trip, we stayed two nights in the Ebro Delta. An incredibly fun stop for families and foodies alike, where there is plenty to do. · A boat trip to the Musclarium is a must! Here you eat oysters and mussels straight from the farm, in the middle of the sea. · Admire the flamingos and black ibises that can be found here all year round. · Rice is grown in the Ebro Delta all year round. For paella, but Kensho also makes sake and miso from it! You can visit them during a tasting. · Cycling along the rice fields, canoeing on the Ebro River, and visiting various beaches. It was still a bit too cold now, but there is plenty to do. · The towns are very low-key and not that exciting, but you can find fantastic local food there. From the Michelin-awarded Les Moles* to local eateries like Vermuteria Bonmarisc and Lo Tinglado. We ate a lot of fish, but also anemone fritters (a first!). Now back to work, and I’m going to create an extensive travel guide of this road trip through Catalonia, but you’ll want to save these tips for a future adventure. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { In this post, I share tips for the Ebro Delta in Spain (Delta de l'Ebre). PUUR JONNIE, an ode to Jonnie Boer. Today I had the honor of being at @delibrijezwolle for the book launch of @jonnie_en_therese. I spent the entire evening reading and browsing. WHAT A BOOK. What stories. WHAT AN ODE. Love, Nature, Pioneer, Fatherhood, Music, Jonnie's Foundation, Friendship, Suppliers, Local products, Relaxation, Entrepreneurship, Humor & The pure human being. Everything is covered, beautifully written by @joel.broekaert. With contributions from, among others, @nelsontanate, @rekkebus, @ronblaauwtje, @jorisbijdendijk, @sidney_schutte & @hvw043. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon @jonnie_en_therese 💚 PUUR JONNIE, Available from April 14 at your local bookstore (and online) 🖊️ @anne_de_buck

These five makeup trends can be applied anywhere in the world

Glossy lips: lipgloss is back! After matte lipstick became a major trend in recent years, gloss is slowly making a comeback. It's ideal for vacation, as you can apply it without a mirror and it's much less of a hassle than a deep-tinted lipstick where every smudge is visible. Seen on the catwalk at, among others, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Sheer or with a light red/pink tint; radiant, glossy lips are back in style!

Natural smokey eye: no harsh streaks and no deep black tint, the natural smoky eye stands for naturally blended eye makeup. A mix of brown, copper, and bronze tones makes this look soft and natural. And by blending a lot, you're less likely to make a mistake when applying your makeup. Ideal for when you're traveling and don't always have the best mirror or lighting. Plus, you're much less likely to accidentally ruin your makeup during the day or evening, for example, by rubbing your eye. Seen at shows by Brandon Maxwell, among others. Tom Ford and Guy Laroche.

Au naturel: yes, we love experimenting with color and glitter, but next season the natural makeup look will be the focus. Skincare A skincare routine and treatments are essential. Because if you take good care of your skin, you'll need much less makeup. A glowy or dewy complexion with a nude lip and perhaps a subtle blush is all you need. And especially if you've already achieved a beautiful bronzed complexion on vacation, it's a shame to have to apply all sorts of makeup over it. Make sure your skin doesn't dry out too much from water and sun on vacation, and then let it shine with the right products.

Blush: also back after a long absence, is the blushGo for a healthy, girly look with a subtle pink/red blush on your cheeks. Feeling bold? Extend the blush almost to your eyelids. Spotted on the catwalk on Sies Marjan and Hussein Chalayan, among others. Especially if you've already developed a beautiful tan, applying a little blush is a super easy trick to instantly look polished.

Subtler brows: the extreme big brows of recent years are slowly starting to fade. Subtle, more natural brows This spring/summer, the trend will be here. Not drawn in or powdered, but with clearly visible, loose hairs. Comb these upwards for an extra fresh and on-trend look, like the models in the show. Tommy Hilfiger, Sportmax and Balmain. An easy brow look that suits your relaxed travel vibe!
