Bar Restaurant 1900 Amsterdam: lovely terrace in East

22 March 2016

bar restaurant 1900 is the hidden gem of east

Spring has officially begun and at the Yourlbb offices that means one thing: which terraces are we going to visit asap? Well, Bar Restaurant 1900 in Amsterdam East is definitely on that list. Here you go for that holiday feeling. Which you certainly get when sitting on their terrace on the idyllic square in Watergraafsmeer. Sitting in the sun watching the fountain, sounds perfect right?

But also when the weather’s bad Bar Restaurant 1900 is welcoming you. All day long. Because here they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a simple cup of coffee or good glass of wine. For breakfast we love the homemade granola, for lunch is the sweet potato soup our favourite and for dinner… Dinner has not only classics – such as hamburgers and bavette – but also the small classics. Which we love! These are small dishes where you can combine 2 or 3 for a full meal. How about a combination of crispy soft shell crab, tuna and a pumpkin tarte tartin? Yum!

Tip: on Wednesday they serve special dinner plates voor only €10. Visit their facebook-page for the menu of the week!

We’ll know where to go, so let the sun shine!
