Where Café Bloemenmarkt once stood, you'll now find Bar Hana Ichiba Amsterdam. A charming spot inspired by Japanese boutique listening bars.
Choose an LP from the collection, and the resident DJ will spin it for you. You'll see: it's not just this fun concept that will make you feel right at home at Hana Ichiba Amsterdam; the interior, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff also make it even better.
The café is somewhat reminiscent of a traditional Dutch pub (the influence of Café Bloemenmarkt is evident), but with Japanese touches. And yes, that creates an original look and atmosphere.

Initially, Bar Hana Ichiba Amsterdam is a typical Japanese listening bar, which are spontaneously springing up like mushrooms in Amsterdam.
At this venue, all the unique Japanese cocktails are served with otoshi, a small snack. The focus here is primarily on Japanese drinks, such as umeshu, sake, biru, and a number of signature cocktails. These pair perfectly with their Izakaya-style bar food.
But that's not all, because every Sunday and Monday they offer an extensive omakase menu, freshly prepared right in front of you. Keep an eye on their website for the availability of the soba master 4-course dinner on Tuesdays and the ramen 3-course menu on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
