Bar Evert-Jan Amsterdam is a new spot in Amsterdam West to go to with your friends for a nice drink and some bites. The men behind Bar Evert-Jan, Mingus and Thomas, wanted to bring this New York vibe to the Baarsjes and we think they definitely nailed it. No fuss, just a place where you can get good bar food and drinks in a relaxed, warm atmosphere. Could that be the secret of this new spot in Amsterdam West? Or is it the live music and piano that make this place different than others.

Those who like live music go to Bar Evert-Jan Amsterdam

At Bar Evert-Jan you can go for dinner or just a drink. As they say: you can enjoy a beer and a bitterball at the bar, but also order a sirloin steak with a glass a wine or a special beer. So, are you ordering the angus beef burger with fries, and a Caeser salad? OR are you going to try the three different types of bitterballs like me? The prices are really affordable as well. For only 10 euros you can already order the burger!

NICE: around 9pm the music gets a little bit louder so you really get the pub feeling. On Thursday nights you can gather your friends for some karaoke. And every Friday and Saturday there’s live music and performances by the in-house pianist. Who are you taking to Bar Evert-Jan?
