Urban atmosphere, street food & a creative vibe
The atmosphere Bar Basquiat I always find it so relaxing. A real urban vibe, like being in a city like New York without it feeling artificial. On weekends, there's often a DJ, and the atmosphere goes on until after midnight. The interior is arty and industrial, with graphic details and a nod to Basquiat here and there.

Why you really want to go back to Basquiat? The new menu is so delicious. It features classics like a good smash burger, but also shrimp toast (my current obsession) and a kimchi salad with dumplings. The chicken katsu sandwich is definitely going to become a classic (I predict!). Just like the skewers from Konrogrill, it'll transport you to Japan. And brunch lovers will be thrilled with the lunch menu, which features several excellent egg dishes.
Whether you come for the food, the music, or just the atmosphere: Bar Basquiat is and remains a fixture in Amsterdam East. An all-day spot where street food and urban vibes collide.
