De eerste vestiging van Back to Black Coffee was al een begrip in de Weteringstraat in het centrum van Amsterdam, nu hebben ze er een tweede vestiging bij. En die is te vinden in Amsterdam West, in de Van Hallstraat. Vroeger zat hier in de Staatsliedenbuurt een viswinkeltje, maar inmiddels kun je er terecht voor de lekkerste koffie met een stuk huisgemaakte taart. Het team achter Back to Black Coffee brandt ook hun eigen koffiebonen en staan voor no-nonsense koffie. Hier dus geen duizend verschillende opties en Starbucks-achtige taferelen. Nee, gewoon ècht goede koffie zonder toevoegingen. De barista’s weten precies hoe ze die koffie het beste kunnen maken en mocht je nou speciale verzoekjes hebben, dan weten zij daar ook wel raad mee.

Naast koffie is hier ook genoeg lekkers te eten. Bijvoorbeeld een huisgemaakte appeltaart (Yum!), maar er zijn ook regelmatig vegan en glutenvrije opties. Alles huisgemaakt en vers. Leuk detail in het interieur is de houten schommel en de grote leestafel, waar je met een kop koffie en een stuk taart gerust even met je laptop kunt werken of gewoon wat kan lezen. Wij gaan snel langs voor onze dagelijkse dosis cafeïne!
