If you're in Cape Town, have lunch and wine tasting at Babylonstoren in Stellenbosch. This estate belongs to the editor-in-chief of Afrikaans Vogue, and trust me… you can see it! Wander through the vineyard and gardens, relax on the grass overlooking the chickens and donkeys, and indulge in the farm shop where they sell all sorts of delicious produce fresh from the land. If you go to Kaapstad Of course, a visit to a vineyard near Stellenbosch is a must!
Next time I go to Cape Town I will definitely try to book a night here to experience it for myself.
Would you like to have lunch at BabylonstorenThen book a spot right after you book your ticket. They're almost always full at the last minute. The greenhouse at the restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the food is farm-to-table. Great for lunch or brunch on the weekend. The restaurant closes at 16 p.m.

Anyone who goes wine tasting to get a little bit jolly afterwards (yes, yes, I'm talking about a non-spitterer...) should not Babylonstoren You'll get a small drop with the wine tasting. But hey, it's all about the atmosphere! You can book various flights for the wine tasting. Make sure you arrive early, as they close at 17 p.m.

Although I am not there myself Babylonstoren I've stayed here, it must be truly fantastic. The rooms are beautiful! Next time I go to Cape Town, I'll definitely try to book a night here to experience it for myself.
The surroundings of Babylonstoren is very beautiful. The estate is surrounded by mountains, which gives it an idyllic atmosphere. From Kaapstad it is about an hour's drive to the estate.
