Arles Amsterdam: neo bistro with the perfect French feeling

29 September 2016

you’re flooded with joie de vivre at arles amsterdam!

They’re popping up everywhere in the city: the neo bistro’s. The classic French bistro in a new, modern jacket. Take Adam & Siam and Apostrof that recently opened their doors for example, they’re all the way bistro. And now also in De Pijp a new bistro is open: Arles Amsterdam.

Perhaps this new kid on the block is the most French bistro of them all. Here the French dishes are actually prepared by French chefs. Even better, by three chefs that all come from the French town Arles. Can it get any more French?

Together they prepare French dishes, depending on what the market has to offer. That means the menu is formed by the fresh products of the day. And with their location on the Govert Flinckstraat the Albert Cuyp market is only a few minutes away. So yes, the three chefs are familiar with the best products that the market has to offer and also know the places in town to get the best meat and the most delicious fish. The result: a changing 3 course menu for 34 euros. Do you want to check the current menu? Check the website of Arles Amsterdam.

But of course a French bistro isn’t just solely about the food. No no, of course there has to be wine as well. That’s why you can expect a wide choice of wine at Arles. And they are very willingly to help you choose the best wine for each moment. Add the stylish interior and cozy vibe with that and your joie de vivre is complete :-)

The address of Arles Amsterdam is Govert Flinckstraat 251!
