“Oh Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo?” Who doesn’t know the tragedy of William Shakespeare about impossible love? It’s one of the most famous stories in the world and now you can see it in a very special way. The story is performed in the theatrw of the Amsterdam forest, Amsterdamse Bostheater!

Have you never been to the Amsterdamse Bostheater before? Then it’s definitely a must visit this summer! Not only because of the sad story of Rome and Juliet that is shown, but also because of the other performances.Just so much to do in the Amsterdamse Theatre! Besides theater, there are also concerts, children’s shows and other productions to watch. All can be admired in this beautiful fairytale theatre. The Amsterdamse Bostheater is pulling all the strings to bring you the most magical summer. And that means performances almost every evening the  forest!

Think cozy forest trails with beautiful lightning that leads you to the stage. You can have a picknick in the evening sun while watching exciting plays. Afterwards you and your lover can stroll into the woods and enjoy the fresh air. Is something different than Netflix on the couch!
