As you’re reading this I am on my way to Australia for a workation. I have never been there before and am so incredibly curious how I will like it Down Under. A road trip is planned from Sydney to Byron Bay, where we will spend most of the first part of the trip. Despite being in the middle of a move in Amsterdam, I have been looking forward to this inspiration trip for weeks at the start of the new season. Do you want to follow my adventure in Australia? ❶ Brunch lovers pay attention, because on Sunday September 29 it’s Kettle One #NationalBrunchDay and you can join at more than 30 locations throughout the Netherlands for a delicious brunch with Bloody Marys. ❷ So much fun: a night market (as we know it from Asian and African countries) is being organised for the first time on Saturday September 28 at the NDSM wharf. With lots of delicious food, special lifestyle stalls and a meeting place for everyone. Read all about the opening hours in the Facebook event >>

❸ Jansz. Family Sundays is back this fall. Parents can go for a carefree dinner with their kids between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. With extra fast service, an extensive kid’s menu and playtime for the children, who can play under the supervision of the friendly nannies in the Copper Rooms. ❼ Nothing is more fun than strolling through a food market where you can eat and drink as much as you feel like on a Sunday. The Pure Market is back in Park Frankendael this Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.. More info about the stands in the Facebook event >>

❾ The indoor food festival season kicks off this weekend with the Amsterdam Wine Festival in the Westergasfabriek, which is all about wines from the Northern Hemisphere. For the beginner and the connoisseur, with many different types of wines that can be ordered by the glass. From Friday afternoon to Sunday! More info via the Facebook event >> 

❿ Canceled because of the weather.  The Rembrandtpark festival is being held for the 14th time on Sunday September 29 in the Rembrandtpark. A free event with live music, a flea market, poetry, theater, many delicacies from a diverse selection of kitchens and a makers market. Read all about it in the Facebook event >>
