10 X tips for this weekend in Amsterdam // September 20, 21 & 22

19 September 2019

Only 97 days until Christmas when we are posting this weekend guide online. I know it might be weird for me to say it at the end of September, but I’m really already counting down. Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons! Having a nice drink with friends, eating out a lot at new restaurants and looking back on the first 9 months of this year. This weekend I’m going to pack up our house for the upcoming move, but also pack my suitcase for my very first trip to Australia. In between al this we might go to a nice event, such as West TAPT or the Pure Market. And have you heard about Wondr yet? The newest pop-up in Noord? In this new Amsterdam Weekend Guide I have collected the best tips for you for September 20, 21 & 22.  Happy weekend!

TIP: Planning a trip to Bali soon? Then watch PART 1, PART 2 & PART 3 of the mega Bali Travel Vlog.

❶ On Friday September 20 and Sunday September 21, the West TAPT Festival will be celebrating its 5th anniversary at Rembrandtpark. What started with a beer festival in Amsterdam has grown into THE beer festival in the Netherlands that is now also being held in cities such as Utrecht, Arnhem, Alkmaar and Haarlem. In addition to a lot of beer from the Netherlands and abroad, you are at the right place at TAPT for good food, games, pub quizzes, chilling in the grass, silent disco and music where your feet will definitely off the floor. Perfect for an after-work drink on Friday or a summer closing on Saturday! Round up your friends and score your ticket here >>

❷ So cool! Pop-up experience Wondr was opened in Amsterdam Noord, which is entirely devoted to very special and photogenic installations. When you step inside, you are in a different world. You can play, experience and although Wondr is very Instagrammable, it is also a place to be offline for a while. A unique concept in Amsterdam for a moment to escape from real life. Do you already see yourself lying in the huge tub filled with marshmallows? Want to know more? Check out the blogpost here >>

❸ Do you love vintage designer items just like me? Then this weekend you don’t want to miss the Designer Vintage pop-up store with pre-loved Chanel bags and so much more. Read more about this pop-up and the location >>
