After months, weeks and days the moment is finally here: Ade 2016 has started! That means the entire city ins transformed into one big party valhalla in black and yellow colours. DJ’s from all over the world are welcomed with open arms to celebrate this big party together. Do you want to check out the best parties one more time? Check our ADE 2016 shortlist here. – The exhibition of the Swiss artist Jean Tinguely in the Stedelijk Museum will definitely make an impression. His arts consists of moving machines, very cool! Until March 5!

– At the Tropenmuseum you can check out the newest exhibition “The Boeddha”. This expo will learn you all about the Buddha and Buddhism. Until January 29!

– You can still go to the cool street art of Banksy in the MOCO museum until December 31.

– In Foam you can check out the impressive pictures of the Chinese photographer Ai Weiwei about the refugee crisis.

– In De Hallen you can visit the photography exhibition of Face The Dutch, There to be admired until November 15!

– And another cultural tip: Rhythm & Roots in the Tropenmuseum! Until October 31 you can learn all about music from around the world.


– Besides all the big clubs and warehouses, also the ‘little’ ones join ADE. Check out Café Struik, Disco Dolly and Kopstootbar. Or how about Drinks and ADE at J.D. Williams Whisky Bar? That last one is also a recommendation for all the expats among us!
