I’m gonna stop by all the new hotspots that opened their doors recently in the city.  After my workation in Bali I have a lot of catching up to do! ❶ Ok, ok. Officially it’s not the start of Taste of Amsterdam this weekend, because Taste actually runs from  May 31 till June 3. So why include it in the Weekend Guide? ❷ Ever been to the Moco? It’s one of our favorite museums in Amsterdam for modern art. From the cool work of  street artist Banksy to the Moco Masters and several temporary exhibitions. Right now they are hosting an exclusive exhibition from Yayoi Kusama where a complete room is decorated all in her distinctive style. ❸ The area of the Westergasfabriek is now officially called ‘Westergas’. And they are celebrating this new name this Friday May 17 with a big party. All the restaurants and bars are joining in on the celebrations, with workshops, an audiotour, exhibitions and a special menu that you can order for € 15,- at several restaurants. ❿ Is the Eurovisie Song Festival your guilty pleasure? You are not the only one in Amsterdam. That’s why hotel Kimpton de Witt is hosting their big Eurovision party in the Wyers Bar from 8pm this Saturday. With loads of glitter and extravaganza.
