amsterdam weekend guide 12 13 14 juli

- Amsterdam -

11 July 2019

Hello weekend! Last week it sometimes looked like autumn, but it looks like it will get better this weekend. That’s a good thing, because Amsterdam is bursting at the seams with fun events this weekend. And let’s not forget the new hotspots that opened their doors. If you don’t feel like a food festival this weekend, you can always stop by for something to eat at The Avocado Show DowntownRamona or visit the newest (bright pink!) Installation at Moco Museum. First back to the order of the day and the tips for a wonderful weekend in Amsterdam. At the bottom of this guide you will find all the links to our Summer lists! From rooftops, to city beacheshotspots on the IJ and swimming spots. Of course I have also listed 10 of the best events for you. Did you already make plans for the weekend? Check out the new Amsterdam Weekend Guide for July 12, 13 + 14. Happy Weekend!

The renovation {part 2}
A quick update on Project Renovation! We have been going all over town to find our dream kitchen. So many options! I am going to create a new series of columns around our renovation. In PART 1 I took you through our selection process and I will also share all the tips you shared on Instagram Stories this week. Because of the hundreds of responses there, I have decided to make this ‘file’ for you. From the best addresses (in the neighbourhood of Amsterdam) for the most beautiful Moroccan tiles, to the dream kitchen for foodies and tips on how to get that pink wall and that bohemian tapestry even though the bf really doesn’t want them. I also like to share this with you as this will take up much of my time in the coming 6 months and I will be traveling less. A while back I shot this room tour video for you in our current house. Take a look at that and let me know what you think!
