10 X THE BEST TIPS FOR THIS WEEKEND IN AMSTERDAM

❶ Fashion alert! This weekend the New Market Sample Sale is back at a new location in Amsterdam. And believe me, this sample sale is really worth it, with brands like: Baum und Pferdgarten, BLANCHE, DANTE6, LEÏ 1984, Leon & Harper, Modström, Notes du Nord and Sessùn. On October 4 & 5 you can shop the new spring collection 2020 from these brands with a discount at the Parq Studios in Amsterdam-West. Read all about it in the Facebook event >>

❷ Have you ever been to Brasserie Carstens? If not, do it quickly! And take the kids with you on Sunday October 6, during the family-proof brunch ‘Aan Tafel‘. I can’t wait for Manuel to be a little older so he can participate in this. While parents enjoy a fully catered lunch, children learn to discover various products based on taste, smell and play. The small groups of children will be learning all this with the guidance of Maik Kuijpers (former Chef at De Librije ***) and his team. Read all about ‘Aan Tafel’ in the Facebook event >>

❸ Have you ever heard of the artist JR? Maybe not, but when you see his work I am sure you will recognise it. There is now a JR room in the Moco Museum, where you can see three of his high-profile works of art for the first time in the Netherlands. Click here to see if you recognise any of the art pieces by JR >>
