Amsterdam Weekend Guide for January 18, 19 & 2017 January 2019
THESE ARE THE BEST TIPS FOR AMSTERDAM THIS WEEKEND
La Dolce Vita on the skies. Who knew that this was a thing? Well now I know first hand, since I got to experience it in Süd-Tirol in Italy last week. I highly recommend this area for foodies that also love to ski! This trip marked the end of my winter-break. For a month straight I only did the ‘necessary’, because however much fun I always might have on my trips for Your Little Black Book, it’s never a holiday in the literal sense of the word. If I’m there, I might as well share all my experiences and tips with you guys, that’s been my motto since day 1!
After the slopes I hopped into the week with New Year’s drinks, brainstorms and new hotspots. This weekend I am – finally!- going to see the Amsterdam Light Festival. Watching all the art pieces from the water with my whole family this time. Seeing the light pieces form the water definitely adds on to the whole experience and it’s just nice to focus on them, instead of cycling over one of the canal bridges and seeing one in the corner of your eye. Did you guys already make plans? I have created a list of 10 cool tips voor your perfect Amsterdam weekend. Have fun with these tips in this Amsterdam Weekend Guide for January 18, 19 and 20!

❷ One of my New Year’s resolutions is to take better care of myself (and my skin!). This means going for a massage more often, taking yoga once a week and visit the salon where I get my facials more frequently for some must needed me-time. Did you also make this resolution? Then let me help you keep it! Use the code YOURLBB and book a Dermalogica treatment with 20% discount, done by my skincare therapist Sylvia at Day and Night Beauty on the Gerard Douplein in ‘De Pijp’. For example: go for a body or face wax, a facial or get your eyebrows or lashes dyed. After using the discount code, a mini facial of 45 mins will cost you € 48,- and a large facial of 75 minutes comes to € 60,-. Dying your eyebrows will cost you no more than € 8.- after the discount! How to book this? Email email@example.com or book a treatment with Sylvia online via dayandnightbeauty.nl with the discount code YOURLBB. This code will be valid until februari 16, 2019. Extra benefit: you can book your treatment for the evening if you book it on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Ps. this discount is not applicable with other aestheticians and you can’t use it for the pro power Peel and the Quanis dermafiller treatment or in combination with other discounts or promotions. ⋙ In the Conservatorium Hotel the Tunes Bar is transformed into an actual FEBO-bar. Complete with ‘snack-wall’ that will offer several FEBO snacks with a Taiko-twist. ⋙ If you grew up during the 90’s (or earlier) like me, than there is no way you never lip synced to one of the Grease songs before. This weekend during ‘Hotelnacht’ at the Pulitzer Bar, it will be all about Grease Lightnin’. Complete with American-diner like bites, milkshake cocktails and golden oldies from all the speakers. ❼ Of course Sunday’s are also for Brunch! And where better to go than to the bottomless brunch at the INK Hotel? You read that right. Bottomless! So that means you’re paying € 32,- for loads of great food, a welcome cocktail and a lot of bubbles that will be topped up as soon as the bodem of your glass is in sight. De Hallen in West is being transformed into the Rembrandt Art Market this week. Come look at (and maybe buy!) some art and finish the day enjoying some nice food at the Foodhallen, or go watch a cool movie in the Filmhallen.Read more about this market here >>
