– Oedipus Brewing is organizing the Kimchi Festival at De Ceuvel! Think of the best local beers, music and food.
– Wine and dim sum. Who can say no to that? Sunday at Wine & Roses!
– On Thursday evening you can have drinks at Baut Zuid.An Afterwork drinks evening by Heineken!
– Happy Oyster Hour at East57 this Friday! Every first Friday of the month you can order oysters for only 1 euro!
– Tapmarin is organizing a fun Friday after work drinks evening: Vroegstuk op Vrijdag! With G&Ts, beer and great beats.
– A beer is always great on a sunny day! Check out the new hotspot Tap Zuid at Rivierenbuurt where they have about 25 beers (!) on tap.
– Did you go to Brezel & Bratwurst at De Pijp yet? An organic sausage bar where you can really delicious currywurst!
– For coffee and books you must go to Vascobelo V-Bar! Here you can read your newspaper on Sunday while having a nice cup of cappuccino.
– At Sir Hummus at De Pijp they serve hummus and then some more hummus. Delicious hummus. With warm pita bread and a salad.
– Feel like having an Asian dinner this weekend? Then go to No95 at Amstelveenseweg!
– Not in the mood for cooking this weekend? Then go to take out Hartje Bos at Bos and Lommer!

– De Parade is back in Amsterdam again! With a programme full of theater, dance, mime and music acts. Until August 23 at the Martin Luther Kingpark. Will you be having a ride in the carousel?
– The TonTon Club is going outside this summer with TonTon in de Zon! For the coming two months you can go to their outdoor game hall at Westerpark for a fun evening!
– Open air film festival Pluk de Nacht started this Wednesday and will be around until August 15 in Amsterdam. Every evening there’s a different independent or culti film shown at Het Stenen Hoofd.
– Festival WhyNot is back! With contemporary dance, live music, short films, artist talks, workshops, pop-up performances and parties.
– From Saturday until August 29, Vette Vis is organizing (outdoors) cinema evenings at Het Ketelhuis. Entrance is free, but come in time to get yourself a good spot!
– Woody Allen is becoming 80 this year and the EYE is celebrating that with around 25 film screenings including the premiere of Woody Allen’s latest film Irrational Man. Until September 9 you can watch the comedies of Woody Allen.
– On Saturday you can go to ZOOmeravonden at Artis again! Until the end of August the zoo will be open every Saturday until sunset so you can listen to music and do other fun activities.
– Have you been to Vondelpark Openlucht Theater? Until September 27 you can go here for free music, theater, dance and cabaret performances.
– Live At started in the Amsterdam Forest! This series of open air concerts in the Bostheater has some good artists in their line-up that you definitely don’t want to miss.
– The best shops are at the Gerard Doustraat! With shops like Miuse, Bloem, Wild, Anna + Nina, Felice en Charlie & Mary en Brick Lane!
– There is a new expo at the bags museum: Black and White: the dresscode of a life time! Where – you probably figured it out already – black and white bags are the main focus.
– Go to Foam for the recently opened expo Swinging Sixties London – Photography in the Capital of Coo. Until September 2nd.
– Must see: The Beauty of Pop exposition of Frank E Hollywood at the gallery of 5&33!
– Did you already go to the Tropenmuseum for the expos Secret Love and Bodyart? Both are really worth checking out!

– Good news: Thuishaven is happening on Sunday! Ticket sale started on Thursday morning so get your ticket asap.
– Festival Appelsap turns 15 this year! So there will be a huge party at Flevopark this Saturday!
– DJ Oliver Weiter is organising his first real festival: Weiter – The Guild. It’s already completely sold out, but who know you might get lucky at ticketswap.
