This weekend the biggest party will not be in the city, but a little bit further away. Because it’s time for Lowlands Festival! That means that many of us will party all weekend in the Alpha, Bravo or X-Ray. Or just stay on the campsite ;-) For those who go to Lowlands: fun is guaranteed. Only the weather is still unsure. – It’s a hamburger valhalla! This Saturday at Stadspodium Amsterdam, behind the Westerpark, during the Amsterdam Burger Festival.
– Bar Kauffman, the falafel paradise of Amsterdam, is open for a few months now. But this Friday they celebrate the big big opening during Het Échte Openingfeest van Kauffmann. And that means falafel, beers and bingo!
– Also The Fish Toko is open! Delicious fresh fish meals for a very, very affordable price!
– And more fishy news: at the renewed Thijs by Dikker & Thijs on the Prinsengracht they celebrate the first edition of Bière et Fruits de mer this Saturday. A cosy get together where you can taste craft beers and oysers!
– The weekend calls for take-out food! How about Korean streetfood that you pick up at the new hotspot Seoul Food on the Kinkerstraat!
– Celebrate the weekend with some beers on the terrace of Café Waldeck, nearby the Vondelpark. (it’s the place with the beautiful barstools from the header)

– Till August 28 you can go to the Stedelijk Museum for Wonen in de Amsterdamse School! This exhibition gives a spectaculair overview of interior designs of the Amsterdamse School: furniture, lamps, clocks, ceramics, textile and graphic designs. A must!
