– This weekend the Local Goods Market (in De Hallen) has a special edition: the Fair & Green special!

– Want to have a special experience? Then visit 5 spices in Radion on Saturday the 25th! An event created by artists that will stimulate all your senses! Check out the video:
– Vrijdag April 24 the William Kentridge exposition will open in EYE Amsterdam. William Kentridge (Johannesburg, 1955) is famous for his special animation films, charcoal paintings and room-filling installations! This will be his first exposition in the Netherlands (till August 25)
– Also nice at the Tropenmuseum: Bodyart! This exhibit is all about Bodyart from all over the world. Warning: you might want a tattoo after visiting ;-). Read all about the expo here. (Until August 30)
– Saturday the 18th of April is the start of the World Press Photo exhibition! A must see! (Till July 5th )
– In the city archives of Amsterdam there is a cool exhibition with photos of Cor Jaring! This selfmade photographer is a true “Amsterdammer” and made several photo’s of rebellious activities in Amsterdam. (Till July 12th)
– The English design duo Jimmie Martin, famous for their special furniture, will open their first exposition in the Urban Art House Gallery Store in Amsterdam. Famous costumers are Kylie Minogue, Kelly Osbourne, Jamie Oliver and Madonna. Go and have a look! (from April 10 till June 30)
– A publication of Terry O’neils new Rock ‘n’ Roll photo book at the Eduard Planting Gallery! Come and see a great selection of the stars of the music industry, like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Presley, Amy Winehouse, Diana Ross and many others (till May 23).
– Visit these nice expositions at the FOAM photo museum: Broomberg & Chanarin (till June 6) + Geert Goiris – Flashbulb Memories, Ash Grey Prophecies (till may 24)
– Pay a visit to the Rollie Shoes pop-up store at the Haarlemmerdijk! Really cute summer shoes.
– Did you go to concept store TITS yet? Must visit if you like fashionable stuff!
– We LOVE the shoes of Mipache with the happy Aztec print. They now have a store in Amsterdam too!
– if you’re going on holiday soon and need a new swim suit the Kabana Resort Wear store is a must visit! Or check out the Ani Ani pop-up store at De Pijp.
– Are you familiar with the sneaker-brand ETQ ? This cool brand is created in Amsterdam and has a warehouse sale this Saturday! So make sure to be there on time and score some beautiful sneakers!
-Still looking for a leather coat? Goosecraft hosts a sample sale at Westergasterrein on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th!
– Friday April 24th you can party at STRAF_WERK at the Marktkantine! (Sold out sadly enough, but who knows you’ll find some tickets on ticketswap).
