Weekend tips for september 25, 26 & 27
Wow September….. you went by so fast! It’s not going to take long before we are having cheese fondue and other winter meals again. Last week I made a lot of new video’s for Yourlbb.tv, our own YouTube channel! If you see me being busy with a camera at the new hotspots in town, you know what I’m doing ;-). Filming! What’s better than video to share the vibe and food and some of my favourite spots in Amsterdam with you?
Do you already have plans for the weekend? There is so much to do that it’s almost hard to decide what! Amsterdam South and South- East are all about 24H South/ South- East. That means a lot of cool (and mostly free) activities. More up for beer and sausage? Celebrate the Oktoberfest at Amsterdam Roest or Brouwerij Troost! – The Foodcenter of Amsterdam opens its doors. This Sunday at Markt van 1001 smaken there is plenty to taste, see, smell and of course buy!
– Do you prefer to go dancing this Sunday? At Festimi you can party during the silent disco. The bbq and cocktail shaker make sure you get some extra energy :-)
– Good news! Oktoberfest is coming to Roest this Saturday! Fourteen hour of drinking beer and eating sausage, yay!
– This Saturday Troost also celebrates Oktoberfest with Brouwerij Troost Präsentiert: Oktoberfest! For 25 euro you receive your own mug (with beer!), real German food and a seating place at the Biertisch! Don’t forget to buy your ticket.
– – This Sunday you can stroll around at one of Yourlbb’s favourite markets in Amsterdam: Pure Markt! This time it’s at Park Frankendael.

– This weekend we can go to Unseen Photo Fair Festival! There is so much to see and do around 40 different galleries, movie theatres and other cool hotspots in Amsterdam. You can enjoy the Unseen Photo Festival for 10 days from 18 until 27th of September.
– During 24H South/South- East you will get to know the neighbourhoods from inside out. Check the website for the full programme with special activities.
– This Saturday it’s time: Oosterpark will be opened! There is allot to do in this brand new park. De Tropen celebrates the opening with music, bites and drinks!
– Do you want to do some Vintage shopping in one of the coolest neighbourhoods of Amsterdam? Come to the Vintage Markt atJavaplein!
– Ready for some me time? Visit Skins Cosmetic at de Negen Straatjes voor an relaxing treatment.
– Hanging around with friends? Go to TonTon in de Zon until the end of September! An outdoor game hall at the Westerpark.
– Does you home needs new decoration go to Store Without a Home! Or go to the just opened concept store Het Huysraat in De Baarsjes for the finest designer furniture.
– One of the best new stores in De Pijp is The Fragrance Store! Unique scents not everyone knows about (YET!)

– Van Gogh goes hand in hand with Munch during Munch: Van Gogh at Van Gogh Museum from September 25 until January 17.
– Foam opened a new exhibition called E_MERGE! A solo expo of Anne de Vries from the Hague who combines objects with the newest (media) technology.
– For the fashionista’s among us: there’s a expo the Tassenmuseum: Black and White: the dresscode of a life time! Where black and white bags are the main focus.
