Best of 2014: Top-6 Amsterdam hotspots of November!

29 December 2014

I’m guessing November is not everyone’s favourite month. We are rapidly moving towards winter, the days are getting shorter, there is wind, cold, rain. But where you can crawl on the couch at home, you can also search for warmth at a nice hotspot! And order a hot chocolate while you’re at it ;-) In November, several new spots where opened in Amsterdam that are absolutely worth a visit.

These are the most popular hotspots of November 2014:

CT coffee & coconuts | The Pijp | >> Best of November 2014 >>

From day one CT coffee & coconuts is booming. Every day it is full of people who are in need for good coffee, homemade cake or … milk from a coconut! Do you know any place in Amsterdam where they serve coffee and coconuts? I don’t! CT is as if you’re briefly on vacation.

Local Goods Market | Amsterdam West | >> Best of November 2014 >>

Only local goods at the Local Goods Market in Amsterdam! This is nice weekend market where products are made or designed in Amsterdam. It gives locals the chance to show what they make and trust me: what they make is beautiful!

De Marktkantine is a creative pop-up in West! You’ll find a theatre, club and restaurant under one roof. A really cool hotspot for concerts, events and vintages markets. And luckily, the pop-up stays in Amsterdam until 2019!

De Marktkantine is for instants favourite thanks to the Rommelige Zondag! A monthly flea market where you can stroll around all day. But you can also sell your stuff. Nice to combine with a bite at Graceland Bar-B-Q, the restaurants at De Marktkantine.
