Best of 2014: Top-6 Amsterdam hotspots of June!

23 December 2014

Summer inย Amsterdam. LOVE it! Think back about last June… the festivals and all the new places that opened the doors. Never a dull moment in Amsterdam! I already look forward to next summer and all the new places that will open up in 2015. Summer of winter, the 6 most popular spots of 2014 are nice in the winter as well!

Have you been to theย Top-6 hotspots of Juneย yet?

Walters Woodburry Bar | Amsterdam East | >> Best hotspots of June 2014 >>

At Your Little Black Book we love the new places in the Javastraat in East.ย Walters was last summer’s hit for a drink and bite on the sunny terrace. Tasty bar food, a neo colonial interior design and a great vibe!

Gekaapt | Amsterdam West | >> Best hotspots of June 2014 >>

By far the coolest pop-up store in Amsterdam! A creative hub with a different location every few months. The first pop-up ofย Gekaaptย was located at the Kinkerstraat and a hugeย success. Good news, because Gekaapt is now open at the Bilderdijkstraat!

Stek | Amsterdam Eastย | >> Best hotspots of June 2014 >>

One of my favourites in Amsterdam East for coffee and lunch. Stek is perfect for a morning of blogging (free wifi!) or to catch up with a friend. The interior design is really nice with a mix of vintage, industrial and fresh flowers on the tables.

Instock | Westerparkย | >> Best hotspots of June 2014 >>

What started as a pop-up is now a place to stay.ย Instock at the Westerpark put food waste on the agenda in Amsterdam. Products that usually don’t make it to our plates are used to create foodie proof dishes. They serve a 3 course meal for only โ‚ฌ 20,-!

Coffee Concepts | Amsterdam Old South | >> Best hotspots of June 2014 >>

Last week Tedje Fliers told about her Amsterdam in the Sunday 7. Together with friends she startedย Coffee Conceptsย last year. A coffee bar, gallery and communication agency under one roof. Nice spot for coffee in Amsterdam Old South!

THT | Amsterdam North | >> Best hotspots of June 2014 >>

Have you been toย THTย in North yet? A nice restaurant at the Tolhuistuin which is perfect for dinner before a concert or party there. I really love the relaxed vibe at THT. Not to forget about the outdoor patio overlooking the IJ-lake.
