Best of 2014: Top-6 Amsterdam hotspots of February!

20 December 2014

It’s almost unreal how many nice restaurants, hotels and cafés we welcomed to Amsterdam last year. Yesterday I already told you about the most popular spots of January. The top-6 most popular hotspots in Amsterdam of February are almost classics by now. Have you been to these spots yet? If not… I hope to inspire you to check them out soon :-).

These are the most popular hotspots of February 2014:

Volkshotel | Amsterdam East | >> Best of February 2014 >>

I’m an Amsterdam East local and I’m still so happy with the opening of the Volkshotel! Going for dinner at Canvas op de 7e is always fun. Especially when you’re looking for a spot where you can dine and dance afterwards. During the warm weather months the rooftop terrace is great! The Volkshotel is one of the most hip hotels in Amsterdam.

Bar Mick | Spaarndammerbuurt | >> Best of February 2014 >>

Maybe Bar Mick is the coolest bar at the Spaarndammerbuurt. Nice spot for a drink after a bite at De Walvis. Or just hang at the bar all night with a friend. I think every street in Amsterdam should have a Bar Mick!

Omelegg | De Pijp | >> Best of February 2014 >>

Yourlbb’s favourite for a good anti-hangover breakfast! At Omelegg it’s all about the best egg dishes in Amsterdam. If you’re looking for a nice breakfast and brunch spot in De Pijp, Omelegg is a must visit.

The Fat Dog | De Pijp | >> Best of February 2014 >>

Delicious hotdogs. Great Gin & Tonics. A cosy bar. To be short: The Fat Dog has all ingredients for an evening of drinks and bar food. With this cold weather I miss the sunny terrace!

Bar Brouw | Amsterdam East | >> Best of February 2014 >>

The guys behind Bar Brouw made pulled pork and brisket famous in Amsterdam. Their second location in Amsterdam East is super popular with the locals. So I’m not surprised that Bar Brouw is one of the spots that made it to this list for February 2014.
