Alan & Pim’s Rotterdam: chicken restaurant

20 September 2015

At Alan & Pim’s Rotterdam For the best chicken in the city

A restaurant like Alan & Pim’s in Rotterdam seems to really exist for me. Alan & Pim’s is a new restaurant in Rotterdam city center where you mainly eat chicken. But not just any chicken! Chicken off the spit and prepped by hand. They only use free range chicken from the Groene Hart. The result? Delicious moist and tender chicken with crispy skin. Mmmmm! I wouldn’t mind trying it out right now.

With a quick glance over the card, you can immediately tell that the menu is inspired by different kinds of cultures. You can for example order the chicken with different flavours. Provencal, Thai or bitter sweet BBQ. Not that hungry? Then you can go for the Tom Ka Kai soup. Side dishes such as baby potatoes with skin and corn on the cob go very well with chicken. And as dessert you can order a piece of cheesecake. Seriously, literally everything on the menu is what I love eating!

The interior of Alan & Pim’s is by the way on point. A lot of black and white but also a lot of wood. You can tell that they really thought it through. For the interior, the staff and of course also the food. And so the gentlemen behind the business really took it slow with the opening. The restaurant is already open a while for dinners, but starting September 1st you can also come here for lunch. We’re very excited, are you?
