Akasha pedicure Amsterdam

Akasha Spa Amsterdam: manicure + pedicure

10 July 2014

It’s sandal time again! Get your feet ready.

pedicure and manicure treatment is on my holiday ‘to do list’ every season.  Before my trip to Istanbul I spoiled my hand and feet at the Akasha Spa at the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam. This spa is not a new address on Your Little Black Book. My love and I like to go there every now and then to enjoy the luxury spa with several saunas and a pool to destress. (Read my blog about the spa and wellness center here).

The Akasha Spa is a holistic wellness center. As soon as you walk in and wait for your treatment while enjoying a fresh mint tea you feel more zen already. For a manicure and pedicure you have to reserve 1,5 hours in your agenda.

At the Akasha Spa the manicure and pedicure are cosmetic. Good to know! This means that they don’t use sharp tools to cut your callous or corns. This doesn’t mean that your’re not walking out with baby soft feet though!

During the treatment your hand and feet get a scrub treatment, your nails get groomed and you can choose a nail polish. They use the brand O.P.I. which is always good! Soon the Akasha Spa will also offer gel polish which is even better because it can last for 2 weeks without a scratch. Perfect for a holiday or festival!
