Afternoon tea Krasnapolsky Amsterdam for a high tea with a view over the Dam

luxorius high tea at Afternoon Tea Krasnapolsky Amsterdam

The Krasnapolsky Hotel on the Dam is a favourite of the Yourlbb team. Whenever we have the time, we go there for a lunch in the courtyard or we book one of the beautiful rooms for a stay-cation in our own city. The Afternoon Tea Krasnapolsky Amsterdam was still on our list of things to try. Lucky us, because a couple of weeks ago we went there for a high tea and we can’t wait to go again soon.

For the Afternoon Tea, you have to be at the Grand Café, where you can enjoy the chaos on the Dam in silence. Nice!

a lot of sweets at Afternoon Tea Krasnapolsky Amsterdam

When you order the Afternoon Tea Krasnapolsky Amsterdam you get, of course, a lot of tea. It starts with savoury and ends with sweets. Enjoy the many sandwiches made with ingredients of the season. Think of sandwiches with cucumber and dried tomatoes when the temperature rises, but of course also sandwiches with salmon, egg salad and fresh cheese. You’ll also get salads like a caprese salad with fresh mozzarella and tomato and not to forget; scones with fresh jam and mango.

The sweet round exists of pie, pie and a very delicious home made tompouce, macarons, chocolates, red fruit and chocolate cakes. And if you’re wondering wether or not you can eat all of this, I know the answer. Probably not… But! You can take everything that you couldn’t finish in a doggy bag to eat it in te evening, on the couch.
