3 November 2017

contemporary art at the affordable art fair 2017

This year it’s time for the 12th edition of the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam 2017. From November 2 until 5, the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam North will turn pink and contemporary artists and young talent will show their work for ‘affordable’ prices. Well, relatively speaking, because the prices are between 100 and 6000 euros ;-) This year also a number of ArtTalks are scheduled. If you would like to know how to maintain a new piece of art or what different techniques there are, you are here at the right place.

Now about the art fair: eighteen years ago, the Scot Will Ramsey introduced a new concept to the market to make contemporary art accessible to all. The Affordable Art Fair became a great success and is now a recurring event in several cities worldwide. Since October 2007, the fair takes place in Amsterdam every year. The Affordable Art Fair lowers the threshold of art bying for a new generation of collectors. We can’t wait to stroll around beautiful works of art!

personal shopper service and re-entry tickets

If you often have a hard time making decisions, there is a new option for you this year: you can get a Personal Shopper Service. For € 25,- extra you can enable a personal shopper that selects a number of art works that suit you. Handy!

If you even can’t make a decision with a personal shopper or if you’re just always in doubt, there’s another option. Get a re-entry ticket at the fair and delay your decision moment. More relaxed if you ask us ;-)
