A bit rough, but refined, that's how you would describe Achilles Heel in Brooklyn Perhaps the best way to describe it is: the interior resembles a gastrobar, a sort of traditional Dutch pub meets restaurant. With a limited but oh-so-delicious menu.
This Greenpoint Brooklyn hotspot is owned by the same people as Marlow & Sons and the Wythe Hotel. And anyone who knows Brooklyn a little knows that's a good sign! This bar has happy hour from 5-7 pm Monday through Friday. Achilles Heel in Greenpoint has some seriously delicious bar bites. For example, the cheese and meat platter, or if you're feeling a bit hungrier, the coulotet steak (no, that's not a typo!).
