One of my favorite things to do on a Saturday is a walk around the Lindengracht Market and the Noordermarkt. Then enjoy the Haarlemmerstraat (where many nice new places have opened) and via The Willem of Dumplings (Highly recommended!) Head towards Westerpark. There you'll find favorites like Cantine de Caron, or enjoy a drink on the terrace at Troost. Perhaps finish with a movie at Het Ketelhuis or a visit to the new Banksy Museum? If you're traveling with older kids, then settle in at the Ton Ton Club in Westerpark. This is such a great way to play tourist in your own city!
