About the internship
Your Little Black Book is looking for an all-around editorial intern to join our content department. During this internship, you'll get a unique look behind the scenes at one of the largest travel & lifestyle platforms in the Netherlands. No two days are the same, and you'll work alongside founder Anne de Buck.
What are you going to do?
During your internship you will actively participate in various parts of the platform:
- Writing, editing and publishing articles in WordPress;
- Optimizing content for SEO and learning how to rank articles high in Google and AI;
- Translating content into social media posts (Instagram & TikTok) and newsletters, such as Substack;
- Weekly trips to the newest hotspots in Amsterdam for photos, videos or interviews;
- Take photos and short videos yourself with your smartphone for social content and articles;
- Assist in the creation of ebooks, interactive city maps and other digital products;
- Working with tools such as WordPress, Canva, Lightroom and CapCut (or being willing to learn them quickly);
- Collaborate on new sections, collaborations, and content formats related to the Your Little Black Book brand.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern who:
- Are you studying communication, journalism, media or marketing?
- Has a smooth pen and writes flawless Dutch;
- A good sense of taste is appropriate for Your Little Black Book;
- Affinity with travel, food & drink and lifestyle (advantage);
- Can work with tools such as WordPress, Canva, Lightroom and CapCut;
- Interested in AI;
- Works independently and accurately, but is also a team player;
- Enjoys going to press events and maybe even going on press trips;
- Preferably living in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.

Practical information
- Starting date: in consultation;
- Duration: minimum 4-6 months (longer is always allowed);
- Availability: 4 days a week;
- You have your own laptop, smartphone and a student public transport card.
