I have to admit... I've never done it! But I think it would be amazing to cut down your own Christmas tree in the Netherlands and take it home in the trunk or on the roof. In America, it's very common to go to a Christmas tree farm, but in The Netherlands I haven't heard it that often. Maybe you have to live nearby and really grow up with it. Or do you prefer convenience if you live in the Randstad? I've already made a list of places in Amsterdam to buy your Christmas treeSome even deliver! (And YES, we've already had two delivered to us with root balls for the garden.) But next year, we're going for the real deal and will cut or dig up our own Christmas tree. The romance for me as a Christmas lover... I'm seriously considering getting another tree. Check this list and plan that trip to a Christmas tree farm in the Netherlands soon and pick out your own tree. Note: always check their websites for opening hours before you go!
