Amsterdam Jordaan / Westerpark Walk ~ This route that starts in the Jordan and passes true Amsterdam classics, such as the Noordermarkt and the Haarlemmerdijk, where there's always something going on. Of course, it's fun to meander through the streets of the Jordaan, but did you know that a walk through the west side of Amsterdam city center can also be perfectly combined with the Westerpark? This way you can discover part of the city center as well Amsterdam west where you may visit less often.

First of all: thank you for being here to close out 2025 <3.
2025, you were everything I hoped you would be and more. So many new memories.
I don't yet know what 2026 will bring, but last year was one for the books. Highlights included trips to China, Mexico City, Egypt, and exploring the English countryside.
Entrepreneurs probably recognize that 2025 was not an easy year.
When I started Your Little Black Book, I had one dream: not to work to stay somewhere for free in exchange for content and the pressure of a "picture perfect" experience. But to use my revenue models to book and experience those special places myself, as a guest instead of an influencer, and to give you honest tips.
After almost 15 years of entrepreneurship, I'm so happy with the balance between editorial and commercial work and that I can also say no to things that don't feel right.
At the same time, it's still special that destinations, airlines, and hotels hire me to create a customized Little Black Book for them. I have complete freedom with these campaigns, and I believe in the value of these content-based tips that truly suit your taste. And they come from me personally, not from a machine.

This will always be my dream job, the one I created almost 15 years ago. I still do as much as possible myself. That's energizing—from both successes and failures.

As a leisure expert and queen of curation, I'm so excited to take yourlittleblackbook.me to the next level. Even though being an online entrepreneur requires constant attention and doesn't always come naturally, I wouldn't want anything else.

This is the coolest new hotel for a night away! Meet @viaantwerp, Antwerp's newest boutique hotel on the border of Zurenborg and Borgerhout (yep, voted the 2nd coolest neighborhood in the world by Time Out).
I recently stayed at this gem, and it truly has it all: a lively bar with a cozy atmosphere, walls adorned with creative art, beautiful, bright rooms, and it's within walking distance of great hotspots. And I haven't even mentioned @mea.antwerp! The delightful restaurant, helmed by a chef who previously worked at The Palomar in London. If you know, you know!

How well do you know the Jordan And the west side of Amsterdam City Center? Team YOURLBB has mapped out a walking route especially for you, taking in our favorite hotspots. This walk is just over 5 kilometers, depending on the routes you take. It's best to always check the locations on Google Maps for the best route from A to B.

Apple pie at the Noordermarkt
Start at Winkel43, where you can enjoy a slice of Amsterdam's best apple pie—and believe us, you'll want to try it again. Then stroll through Noordermarkt, where the market is held every Monday and Saturday morning. You'll find everything here! Oysters, the finest cheeses, and other top-notch culinary products. On Mondays, there are also several stalls with secondhand finds and antiques.

On the way to the Westerpark
After the Noordermarkt, walk along Westerstraat to Frederik Hendrik Plantsoen, cross the water via the Hallbrug bridge, and continue to Van Hallstraat. At the beginning of this street, Vegetarian Streetfood spot Vleesch Noch Visch is a delicious spot for takeaway lunch. At the end of Van Hallstraat, you'll find Restaurant Café Amsterdam, a long-standing favorite. Continue on to Westerpark.

Westerpark
As you enter Westerpark, turn immediately left. Need a coffee or other drink to go first? Pacific Amsterdam It's always a great hotspot. With a lovely terrace! Then, walk along Polonceaukade towards the Ton Ton Club and along Gosschalklaan past the Gashouder. Take a moment to reflect on all the great parties you've had there! Mussel & Gin is also a place where you can enjoy delicious mussels. They recently also created a new terrace. Turn left onto Klönneplein and walk all the way to the Westergasterras. Follow the path all the way to the back of the park, along the water, towards the town center. You'll eventually end up at the ConsciousHotel and De Bakkerswinkel, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or high tea. From here, walk towards Haarlemmerplein.

Hotspot street Haarlemmerdijk
From the Haarlemmerplein you walk onto the lively Haarlemmerdijk. The Haarlemmerdijk and the Haarlemmerstraat, together Haarlemmerbuurt, are the streets for a great mix of shops and food. You'll find many vintage shops and coffee spots, such as Coffee & Such, Marbles Vintage, and Jutka & RiskaYou can taste something delicious or take it home with you at Ibericus of Petit GateauWalk down the street to the Herenmarkt and walk back along the Brouwersgracht to the Noordermarkt where the walk began.
