Are you obsessed with wanderlustBut don't have a money tree in your backyard? Join the club, because who wouldn't want to quit their job and travel the world? Unfortunately, that's not an option for many of us, which is why even true wanderlusters have to keep their 9-to-5 jobs. But how can you combine a full-time job with regular travel? Today I'm sharing my personal tips with you! Don't tell anyone, okay? ;-) .
You don't have to take a few weeks for every trip. Make the most of your weekends! If you happen to have a long weekend because a few holidays fall on it (think Easter, Pentecost, Good Friday), plan a European city break. That way, you don't have to take any extra days off, but you can still enjoy a short break!

Spending holidays like Easter and Christmas with family is certainly wonderful, but if you really want to travel more, you can also get out and about during these holidays. Traveling during the Christmas holidays can be especially enjoyable, because wherever you go, there's always a cozy and welcoming atmosphere thanks to all the Christmas decorations. And of course, those decorations vary from country to country, which is great!
We recently wrote about the workation, where you combine business with pleasure by continuing to work at a beautiful vacation destination. This apparently makes you much more productive and creative. Just be sure to check with your boss before booking a workation ;-) !
Working overtime isn't fun, of course, but sometimes it's definitely worth it! You might get extra pay, or even be able to take extra days off. Take a look at your contract or talk to your boss.
Be flexible and seize every opportunity to travel. Planning is always a good thing, in my opinion, but also be prepared for surprises and be open to spontaneous trips. Trust me, a spontaneous weekend in Paris is truly wonderful ;-) .
