At The Sheds @ 1Fox Johannesburg, you'll find several cool initiatives under one roof. I ended up there by chance once after driving the Critical Mass bike rideA real gem in a rugged part of Joburg.
The Joziburg Market at The Sheds @ 1Fox johannesburg
The food market is definitely recommended on weekends. What once started as a purely food market has now expanded to include a nice selection of lifestyle brands. The Joziburg Market is held every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m. It's also a great idea to combine it with the Neighborhoods Market on saturday and Arts On Main on Sundays. The evening market, held every last Friday of the month, is also fun. At this food market, you can eat virtually anything you can imagine. A melting pot of flavors and aromas. At the lifestyle stalls, you'll find beautiful items from jewelry to vintage and leather goods.

At The Sheds @ 1Fox Johannesburg, you can find the best local produce from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From cheeses to meats and from oils to bread, they also offer a lunch special from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

For drinks from coffee to cocktails, head to Happy Me at The Sheds @ 1Fox Johannesburg. They open at 9:00 AM but otherwise have the same opening hours as the Joziburg Deli. It's a great spot to start the day with a coffee and finish it off with a cold beer later in the day.

YES dears; I'm back from vacation and fully ready for Dutch spring, long lunches and spontaneous dates with my favorite city Amsterdam.

Note to self: always leave room in your suitcase for souvenirs. During my ski trip to Méribel, I popped into the local pharmacy just before leaving, and these are the beauty products I took home.

Looking for a stylish winter sports destination in France? Méribel is one of those places where everything is perfect: beautiful ski-in/ski-out hotels, excellent restaurants on and off the slopes, wonderful spas, and, if you're feeling energetic, après-ski.

While I'm currently hopping from hotel to hotel and neighborhood to neighborhood in Bangkok (all in the name of “research” and new food hotspots for the new LITTLE BLACK BOOK 😉). Back home, Amsterdam is serving peak weekend vibes.
Think: Dim Sum Sunday in Noord, vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations across the city and a Vietnamese Tết feast at @yen.diningbar. Add market gems like the @le.temps.perdu.brocante pop-up in Oud-West and @themakermarket at De Hallen, and your weekend basically plans itself.
And yes, make time for ARTIS: there are now two elephant calves and they're too cute. 🐘🐘 Instant serotonin incoming, I promise!
