Craft & Draft Amsterdam: beer bar and beer shop in West

5 March 2015

The only beer bar with 40 taps: Craft & Draft Amsterdam

Craft & Draft Amsterdam is a new beer hotspot West. A beer bar and beer shop in one! They just opened their doors and I already went there to take a look and to try one of their beers.

Owner Peter calls his third beer cafe a hobby that went out of control. A successful hobby though! Cause besides Arendsnest and BeerTemple, Craft & Draft Amsterdam has everything to be a great success. Partly because it’s not only a place to drink beers at the bar, but also beer-take-out: here you can take your favourite beers home! The beer is tapped in a liter bottle and therefore also a nice gift for one of your friends.

Choiches at Craft & Draft Amsterdam

Are you bad at making choices than Craft & Draft Amsterdam is going to make it hard on you. Here you’ll find no less than 40 different kinds of specialty beers on tap and over 100 bottle. But tell the bartender the taste you like and he helps you make a choice. I chose a light, refreshing beer and got a Mannenliefde (Men Love). My hubby went for a more bitter one and got the Lucky Jack.

Light at Craft & Draft Amsterdam

Peter used to work in the furniture industry and that is reflected in the establishment of Craft & Draft Amsterdam. Compared with other dark beer cafes, this one is light! Just as beer bars often looks abroad nowadays. Furthermore, the beer bar is hip furnished, with a large table, wooden chairs and industrial lamps. But I think hanging at the bar is always the best place drink beers. Now I only have to choose from the 38 other special beers …
