7 X the best lebanese restaurants in Amsterdam

MITTS

Middle East meets Mokum is the slogan of MITTS on Javastraat in East. A cosy, slightly hipper spot than most Lebanese restaurants in Amsterdam. On the menu, you’ll find the tastiest Lebanese dishes like hummus with pine nuts, labneh with roasted beets, roasted cauliflower with pomegranate, and lamb kebab. Perhaps even better, they also serve Lebanese brunch, including shakshuka. Yum!

Restaurant Beyrouth

The mezze table is very tasty, the service is always warm, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. Among the mezzes, the cauliflower is a favourite. For just €18,- you can enjoy a mezze menu here, with 5 hot and 5 cold mezzes.

Fenicie

This reader’s favourite couldn’t be left out of the list. The Purmerend branch was particularly mentioned, but the newest restaurant on Leidseplein is also a winner. Enjoy a variety of favourites from the Lebanese kitchen, such as red lentil soup, hummus, and charcoal-grilled meat.

Cedars

Among the Lebanese restaurants in Amsterdam, Cedars may not be the cheapest, but it truly has a unique location. In the summer, you can sit by the water and enjoy the surroundings. And let’s be honest, with a bit of imagination, you can feel like you’re far outside Amsterdam.
