Bakhuys Amsterdam for coffee and fresh baked bread!
Bakhuys Amsterdam is a new spot at the Sarphatistraat in Amsterdam East. It’s located across the tram stop at the Sarphatiplein. At Bakhuys it’s all about fresh baked bread, good coffee and lunch dishes. I recently went there with a friend for coffee and lunch. The place looks really cool! You can overlook the bakery which looks really industrial and there’s a cantina style restaurant area to sit down for food and drinks.
For lunch Bakhuys offers all kinds of sandwiches and quiches. I have to go back to retry their lunch menu when they are open for a bit longer since I wasn’t very enthusiastic about the quiche with chorizo. But this new spot is approved for the coffee and fresh bakes bread to go. The sweet pastries and pies looked very good as well! Next time when I’m catching tram 9 or 10 I will try and test them for you!
