3 x this is what we’d do with 5.000 euros worth of traveling budget
When I started Your Little Black Book 5 years ago my travel bucket list was still quite long. The past years have been amazing; I had the opportunity to make one dream trip after another and experience so many beautiful things. But first I’d like to share with you what my three dream trips are that I hope to make someday when I have the resources to do so. - Take the Oriënt-Express from Paris to Istanbul: I love travelling by train and if there’s one special train ride I’d hope to make one day it has to be the Oriënt-Express from Paris to Istanbul, one of the most luxurious trains in the world. But a trip with the Peking Express all the way to Bejing also sounds like a very special experience!
- Live in New York for a month: I used to think that I could live abroad as an expat. Now I travel this much for Your Little Black Book I don’t feel that urge at all anymore, expect for one city. If I had the opportunity to spend € 5.000,- on a trip tomorrow then I would rent an apartment in Brooklyn and live there like a local for a month!
- Go on a polar safari in Canada: My number one dream when it comes to travelling is to make a polar safari someday in the North of Canada. Where this fascination for those animals come from I don’t know, but I think it would be so special to see these enormous animals real life! In Canada you can take a certain “Tundra Buggy” that will take you into nature to spot these polar bears in the wild. To me that sounds like the best safari there is!
