Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam: most luxurious hotel!

29 April 2014

5 star luxury at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam!

At the Herengracht opens the brand new Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam on May 1st. A hotel with endless luxury between the Utrechtsestraat and the Reguliersgracht. I can’t wait to go there for lunch or dinner and enjoy the luxury style of the Waldorf. I’m so curious about this new hotel and hope to stay there one day :-). The Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is located just around the corner of the Utrechtsestraat. Nice shops and restaurants there are: Maison NL, Bar Moustache and Pata Negra.

The interior

The Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is located in six connected canal houses that are unique piece by piece. The interior is designed by G A Design International and is very luxurious. Classic but modern at the same time. With the allure of the Amsterdam canals and a link to the Dutch masters with framed views that give a beautiful look on the canals. As if you’re looking to a painting!

The rooms

The 93 rooms and suites of the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam all have a unique interior with natural colours with bright accents, very heigh ceilings and the most luxurious sheets you have ever seen.

The restaurant

You probably heard about the restaurant concept of the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam where guests can enjoy dinner in line with the philosophy of Michelin star restaurant De Librije. I’m very curious about the menu and atmosphere in the restaurant.

The bar

The Vault Bar is the hidden pearl of the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam in the former safe of this bank-building. This exclusive and intimate bar will get a colourful interior.

The spa

I love hotel spa’s! It’s often very quiet there and super luxurious. The Guerlain Spa of the Waldorf Astoria is located at the garden level. Beside the three treatment rooms and the relax lounge this spa has a heated indoor pool, sauna and steam cabin.

I’m going to the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Amsterdam soon to check out this luxury place myself. Drinking cocktails at the Vault Bar with friends!
