Waldeck Amsterdam: nice terrace in Old-South

11 July 2016

waldeck amsterdam is your new after-vondelpark base!

Imagine this: the weather is good and you and your friends are making a nice walk through the Vondelpark. Dogs, children, couples, everybody joins. After a game of soccer and some hide & seek it’s time for some drinks on the terrace. But where to go, where to go? Well, Café Waldeck Amsterdam is waiting for you! A recently opened bar very close to the Vondelpark, at Willemsparkweg 223.

More from Amsterdam

In other words: in the heart of Old-South! And with the cool interior, the fine menu and the wonderful terrace Waldeck is welcoming the people outside of Old-South as well. That’s why there are plenty of seats at the – very very pretty – bar and on the terrace outside!

The chill vibe as well on the terrace as at the bar and tables inside make Waldeck the perfect place to relax after your walk. From a white bun with cheese to a grilled tuna steak and ‘lekkerbek’, the simple yet qualitative dishes will absolutely boost your energy. And most important: they have a very extensive bar bites menuNachos, ‘bitter balls’, shrimps, sashimi and many more. So something for everyone!

This makes Waldeck the perfect place to visit all together. And does the sun really shine? Then you can easily sit outside till late. Perhaps you know the place of Waldeck Amsterdam already. It used to be Café Willemspark/Lexington before, remember? So make sure you check out the cool brand new interior anytime soon!

Enjoy!
