Vondelpark 3 Amsterdam: for drinks and wining & dining

Vondelpark3 Amsterdam: traditional Dutch dishes

Vondelpark3 Amsterdam opened its doors last spring in the old Vondelparkpaviljoen. I think this is the most beautiful building in the Vondelpark! I remember when I first moved to Amsterdam that I loved going there for the nice view over the park drinking in the sun with friends. At Vondelpark3 Amsterdam we can chill out in the sun again or curl up on one of the Chesterfield couches on cold weather days.

Menu at Vondelpark3 Amsterdam

On the menu at Vondelpark3 Amsterdam you find everything from breakfast to dinner. The menu is based on a New Holland concept. Traditional Dutch dishes made from fresh, local products. They prepare the food like in the old days, but with ingredients used today. And vice versa!

As a starter I had steak tartare (my all time favourite!). But the carpaccio of my boyfriend looked delicious too! As a main course we ordered beef sirloin and fish from the market. And is there some space left in your stomach? Then you can share the peer-dessert of poached pear, curd and peer icecream! Nomnomnom!

On the menu are also delicious stews. What do you think of sweet potato with cabbage, spinach and beef stew? Or red quinoa with raw endive, yellow carrots and smoked salmon? Next time I really want to try some of these Dutch dishes!
