Prinz Wolf Amsterdam for tartare, oysters, cocktails and wine

Wolf Atelier, one of our favourite restaurants for ceviche and steak tartare expands! Do you remember the popular tartaria pop-up at wine bar Vyne from last spring? It’s back and now for good! The pop-up where you could eat tartare made with different preparations for a week was a great success. So successful that chef Michael Wolf decided to dedicate a permanent restaurant to his favorite dish. Prinz Wolf Amsterdam will be your new go to place if you like, but really like tartare. But also if you’re crazy about oysters, cocktails and bubbles. No worries ;-).

Prinz Wolf Amsterdam is going to be a tartaria where you can eat different types of tartare. Think of steak tartare (meat), but also prepared with fish and even with veggies. This concept is not new. Chef Wolf discovered the tartaria by accident in Lisbon. He stumbled upon a small restaurant that was completely focussed on tartare and decided to introduce this concept with the pop-up in Amsterdam. Apparently he was not the only one who was really enthusiastic, soon we can eat tartare every day at the tartaria of Amsterdam; Prinz Wolf Amsterdam.

Ps: the kitchen is open and that’s a big plus for us! This way we can see how our favorite dish is made.

We have to wait a little while for the tartaria. After a big renovation, the doors will open in October. Until then, you can eat tartare at Wolf Atelier in Amsterdam West!
