Porcupine Cafe Bangkok (Soi Ari): coffee hotspot

8 September 2014

Hipster district Ari and the cool Porcupine Cafe

Bangkok is such a cool city! Porcupine Cafe in Bangkok is a coffee bar and  eatery in the Ari neighbourhood. This district is a must visit for everyone who loves hotspots! Bangkok is such a vibrant and diverse city… I could easily live here for a while :-).

At Porcupine Cafe Bangkok they serve great brews! As an iced coffee maniac I went for an iced latte. Of course! And for a change I’m actually writing this blog right on the spot. That’s the advantage of solo travelling ;-). I can tell you all about my adventures immediately without being a-social for my travel buddies.

The Porcupine Cafe Bangkok has a very cool interior design. White walls, rock like tiles on the floor and a mix of blonde wooden furniture and vintage. I’m sure you will love this place too! Porcupine Cafe Bangkok also has a cute roofed patio, but since it’s almost 30 degrees I decided to go for the airco inside ;-).

On the menu at Porcupine Cafe Bangkok you find international dishes. Lots of spaghetti options (also Thai style), hamburgers and salads. I had a spinach and cheese bake. A lasagna like dish with spinach and cheese. Really nice! Just love hearty food.

Looking at their cakes I wished I was more into sweets. The NY style cheesecakes and red velvet cakes looked all delicious!

The Ari neighbourhood in Bangkok truly is the hipster neighbourhood and a must visit on your next trip down here!
