Will The Pool be the new favorite on the Wibautstraat?
Many of our readers used to dance their hearts out in Club Trouw. Nowadays there is another, new hotspot on the former spot of Club Trouw. Restaurant The Pool in Amsterdam East has a colorful interior. It’s inspired by the Miami vibe with its pink little tiles, pool-attendant chairs, neon characters, flamingos and light colored tables with a set of colorful chairs. From morning till evening the doors are open for those who want a delicious meal or just want to enjoy a cup of coffee. And yes, they have free wifi for freelancers.

Entering The Pool, you will see the bar on your left where you can drink something before eating. The cocktails look delicious but because it’s Monday, I skip them. Next time! The menu of The Pool Amsterdam contains lots of dishes which are affordable and shareable. You know it: the more we can try, the happier we are. So, after a deep examination of the menu, we ordered different meals.
The baba ganoush is very delicious and so is the Iberian Secreto. We also shared a pizette. I honestly recommend the Arabica if you like, just like me, spicy food. Afterwards we shared a cheese platter with all kinds of cheese for example from Libanon. You’re totally fulfilled after you’ve had dinner at The Pool. Believe me!
