Eat outside in a lovely garden at Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn

After just a few hours in Tallinn we were in love with this medieval city! Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn is our first restaurant hotspot of our weekend get away. And I’m sooo happy that we made a reservation there! You enter Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn through an old gate. Ones inside you’re at a beautiful inner garden with tables to dine outside. So romantic!! We got a table at a balcony overlooking the garden. It’s only end of August but it’s already cooling down in the evening at the end of the summer. Luckily at Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn they have sheep fur blankets to keep your chair warm and blankets to make it cosy when you get chilly. We’re in a romantic mood so we order bubbly to celebrate our mini holiday :-). As you all know my life motto is ‘The best time to celebrate is whenever you can!’ so whenever we feel like it we celebrate the good life.

The menu at Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn

The food at Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn is based on a farm to table concept. You can’t make me happier. Fresh local produce from the countryside of Estonia. As a part-time carnivore I order the steak tartar and it’s so good! As the night falls we enjoy Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn even more. The candlelight makes it so romantic! I decided to go for the pike perch as a main. All yummy! The crowd at Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn is a mix of trendy mid thirty Estonians (or are they Finnish?) and couples. As a dessert we share the Estonian cheese platter with black current dessert wine. After dinner at Leib Resto ja Aed Tallinn we’re going for more wines at the local wine bar!
