Montana’s Trail House, Bushwicks new western style spot

Ah Montana’s, just the place we needed for our Sunday brunch. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is laid back and the food is solid. And maybe the best thing, we’re in Bushwick now. Yihaaah! If you’re into Southern comfort food (think root beer braised brisket) then Montana’s Trail House is where you want to go.

Finally a brunch spot where the Bloody Mary’s are strong and spicy!

The interior of this urban saloon will put a smile on your face. All walls and the ceiling have been timbered with wooden planks which makes it really cozy. And very country-western. It’s almost like how I would expect a trail house on a mountain in Montana (whatever the hell trail house means no idea, but Montana sounds so cowboy) to look like. And where eating game or a daily catch like trout with your homemade fishing rod is pretty standard. I’ve also watched Broke Back Mountain you know…

They even made a bookcase which is actually a hidden door to an outdoor area where they grow their own veggies.
No way better to spot the coolest street art around Troutman street with a full stomach!
