10 X new RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM that you want to visit now
Amstel Boathouse: Go to the Amstel Boathouse for a good cup of coffee to start the day with, or for lunch or dinner. They have a selection of food from the land or from the water. We can’t wait to eat some oyster here at the big terrace while enjoying the sun. Perfect!
Morris&Bella: Morris&Bella turns around the traditional menu. Instead of vegetables and potatoes being supplements, vegetables are actually the basis of your meal and meat, fish or cheese is something you order as an ‘extra’. This way everyone can eat what he or she wants, and it gets more easy to eat less meat and fish. Winning!
De Biertuin Prinsengracht: No need to go all the way to East for your drinks on Friday, because De Biertuin Prinsengracht has opened in the city center. You can expect a lot of beers and bites like chicken, hamburgers and bratwurst.
Vegan Junk Food Bar: At the Vegan Junk Food Bar, you can order very tasty and 100% vegan snacks. Vegan hamburgers, vegan cheese and yes, also vegan mayonaise!
Proefwerk: Proefwerk is your new favourite spot in South. It’s a bar + restaurant + the perfect spot for some dancing. Proefwerk mainly is the spot for shared dining, great for an evening with your friends.
De Kopstootbar: The Kopstootbar is where you want to go for some drinks (and maybe some dancing) with friends. But from now on, it’s also your favourite spot for some food in the center. Order a cheese fondue, mash with meat or a ‘Noordzeeviche’. Tip: the steak-frites with Hollandaise sauce is so good.
Rayleigh & Ramsay: At Rayleigh & Ramsay they have a concept that we, woman, love. You can tap your own wine from a wine dispenser, so let’s say goodbye to wine glasses that are only filled half. On the menu are easy, small but tasty dishes that go with the season.
Mastino V: Hello vegetarians and vegans, all your vegan pizza dreams will be fulfilled. Mastino V at the Bilderdijkstraat is a bit different than Mastino in the Pijp. Because at Mastino V, they have vega(n) pizzas! Not just delicious, also healthy and gluten free.
Mylk: At Mylk you get a plate filled with colourful vegetables and it’s not just the vegetarians and vegans that will get happy because of this. Wether you love meat or not, the dishes as Mylk are something everyone wants to try. Most dishes are vegan, but they also have dishes with fish and dairy.
The Cottage: The place to be in Amsterdam East for British comfort food & drinks. What to expect? Scones with jam, the best pies, English breakfast and a lot of lunch and bites!
