have you already visited one of these new restaurants in amsterdam?

For a little while we felt that summer flew by, but suddenly it was here again. Lucky us! And what do we do when the sun shines? Right, we’re going to have a nice dinner with our best friends or lover. That’s why we made a list with new restaurants in Amsterdam again. Check out the latest hotspots in town and plan dinner with friends!

Of course there are also a lot of restaurants that open soon, so we came up with something for that. In our ‘Coming Soon’ list, you will find all the restaurants that are going to open soon, but where isn’t much info about yet. As soon as these new places open, we’ll share it with you guys first!

9 X new RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM that you want to visit now

Staring at Jacob x KU West: During the day you can order your favourite chicken with waffles, eggs and pancakes at Staring at Jacob and in the evening you can go to KU West for the best Japanese bites. Sushi, sashimi, handrolls, they are ready to be ordered at this ‘new’ spot. Nice: Staring at Jacob and Ku Kitchen Bar Amsterdam West do cross their pads sometimes. During the day you can for example order a Japanese pancake and salads with a Japanese touch.

Frank’s Smoke House: At Frank’s Smoke house you can order a sharing & tasting menu that makes you stay for hours. Dishes made with Frank’s smoked meat, fish and vegetables. Think of a Smoked Fish Plank, Smoked Tartar, Smokey Cannelloni and of course Smoked Aged Beef. Potatoes and sauted veggies on the side and a Crispy Rhubarb with coconut ice cream for dessert. This evening can’t go wrong …

Pizza Heart Bar: YES, there’s a new pizza bar in town! A pizzeria for vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters and even pizza haters. Yep really, a pizzeria where you can take your friend who doesn’t like pizza (how is it even possible?).

Stewart & Sally: Stewart & Sally is actually quite famous for many, many students from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam at the Zuidas and now also for everyone in Amsterdam North. They just opened a permanent location in North for lunch, dinner, take away and take in. You can get the tastiest stews and salads over here!

Mr. Crab: We have some good news for everybody who loves, loves, loves  seafood. A little while ago a fish walhalla opened its doors in Amsterdam and trust us, you really would like to go here. And if I say a fish walhalla, I mean a fish walhalla. At Mr. Crab Amsterdam you can order a lot of different types of seafood, prepared in a lot of different ways. From a Norwegian shrimp cocktail to grilled lobster with truffle mayonnaise and in wine cooked mussels.

Mr. Mrs. Watson: Mr. & Mrs. Watson proves that vegan food is not boring at all. They serve vegan comfort food with a culinary twist. A tip of the veil: think of dishes like frittata tatin, pulled no-pork, apple-sage sausages, orange soup and a vegan cheesecake.

Shanghai Bistro: Shanghai Bistro is your new favourite dim sum spot in the Pijp. Expect a lot of classic street food dishes from China, but with a nice twist. We love the interior, it got a Chinese pop art touch. Nice!

La Cacerola: Do you want fries, but do you feel too exclusive today that you don’t feel like going to Febo? Then visit La Cacerola for fresh fries out of the window. Yes, at this Spanish restaurant you can pick up fries in a very special way. When the weather is good you can find a red box with a bell hanging out of the window of the restaurant. Ring the bell, throw money in the box and wait for your fries that will come down from the top window.

Vattenramen: Want to get some ramen with friends tonight? Then we have some good news, you can now order a very nice bowl of ramen in the center of Amsterdam at the new Vattenramen. A ramen restaurant of the famous Michelin chef Hideto Kawahara from, of course, Japan!
