Nacarat Amsterdam: New restaurant of Ron Blaauw at the Rokin

Nacarat Amsterdam, fine dining with a view over Amsterdam

Nacarat Amsterdam is the newest project of chef Ron Blaauw on the rooftop of Hudson’s Bay, the new to open department store on Rokin this autumn. Naracat Amsterdam is located on the 5th floor and has a spectacular view over Amsterdam. During the day you can go to Nacarat Amsterdam for a delicious lunch during your shopping spree as soon as Hudson’s Bay opens the doors. The good news is that the restaurant is already open for dinner now! The entrance of the restaurant in an alley next to Rokin 49. We already saw some photos of the beautiful interior design by HIP Studio and can’t wait to check it out soon and of course try the food ourselves.

HIP StudioThe menu has a Middle Eastern touch. For lunch you can think of light dishes like Lebanese bread with humus, but also oysters and a good glass of wine. In the evening, Nacarat focuses on fine dining in a Tel Aviv-style. Expect a tasting menu of four courses to share with the whole table. What makes Nacarat Amsterdam a bit different is that you pay for the menu as soon as you book your table online. Something we’re maybe not used to yet in Amsterdam.

And while Hudon’s Bay is opening the doors somewhere at the end of September you can already go to Nacarat for dinner and book your table via their website.

Nice detail: The name Nacarat is inspired by the warm color orange, like the color of the sunset, which we can enjoy through the glass roof of Hudson’s Bay.
