Mikkeller Bangkok: micro brewery in Ekkamai

5 October 2014

From Copenhagen to Bangkok with Mikkeller

Mikkeller is my favourite craft brewery from Copenhagen. And the good news is, they have a location in Bangkok too now. You can imagine that this was one of the last things that I expected to discover on my trip to Thailand. With the large expat scene in Bangkok the craft beers are just as popular as in Europe and America. And I can’t blame them!

Mikkeller Bangkok
Mikkeller Bangkok is located in the Ekkamai district which is one of the trendy districts in town. may cool restaurants and bars there! The guys from Mikkeller call this Asian beer adventure their gypsy brewery. And I have to say… it’s a must visit if you’re in Bangkok! Especially when the weather is nice and the garden is open.

During the weekends Mikkeller Bangkok organises nice events. Beer and food tastings, like beer and oysters or other delights. A great spot to hag out enjoying food and drinks!

Mikkeller is located in the more residential Ekkamai area and when driving there, you wouldn’t expect it to be actually there. This is a hotspot you don’t walk by easily. One of Bangkok’s hidden gems!

PS: if you’re going to Bangkok late at night it can be hard to get a taxi… luckily there’s Über Bangkok to bring you to the next hotspot. BIG LIKE for BKK!
